Day 1: Arrive Kigali

Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After enjoying breakfast and completing the check-out process in the morning, you'll embark on a journey to Musanze / Volcanoes National Park.
En route, you'll immediately notice the characteristic terrain of Rwanda, famously known as the "land of a thousand hills.
Throughout the drive, you'll pass by lush coffee plantations, banana farms, and witness the bustling daily life of local Rwandans (a drive of approximately 2.5 - 3 hours).
During the trip, you'll have the opportunity to visit the Ellen DeGeneres/Dian Fossey campus in Musanze for an informative tour. Here, you'll gain insights into gorilla behavior and learn about the impactful work of Dian Fossey.
Upon arrival at the hotel, you'll check in and enjoy a delicious lunch.
The remainder of the afternoon is yours to relax and unwind at the hotel, taking advantage of the leisure facilities available.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking
Day 4: Transfer Back to Kigali
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out.
Consider joining the optional Golden Monkeys Hike: Accompanied by a local ranger, trek through the forest to observe golden monkeys, along with other primates, and marvel at the diverse vegetation, flowers, and birdlife.
